Are you looking for a fun program to educate your students about writing?

Then contact "Aunt" Debra Pedrow for your next school assembly.

SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS always include:

1. Aunt Debra reading one of her books, dressed in character.
2. Power Point presentation of book illustrations, so all students can easily see.
3. Elementary age appropriate information on character development and writing.
4. Press page sample showing how the book was printed before it was cut.
5. Students may pre-order personalized, autographed books.

The stories are fun! I interact with students by asking them to find things on pages, we discuss what characters would say, and we discuss how the students would write their own ending.

EMME'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
by Debra A. Pedrow

Did you ever have one of those days when everything goes wrong?
Emme is so excited about her birthday party, and her mom and dad have planned every detail to ensure her day is special.
Her guests arrive and expect to be entertained. But the entertainment is not what you would expect at a birthday party! Poor Emme!
The pet hamsters disappear in the house, the party entertainer breaks an arm, the decorations are all wrong, Dad starts a fire in the kitchen, one quest is allergic to EVERYTHING and, to make matters worse, a huge storm occurs and... THE LIGHTS GO OUT!
Even more unbelievable things occur as the party continues.
Will the event be a total disaster or will Dad save the day?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMME!

School assembly for the Power Point presentation. The best way to talk to large groups.
